Something I have been considering lately is that I am in the prime time of my life to chase my goals. I don’t have a career that I’d be walking away from, I don’t have a house to mark my personal spot in the world, and I don’t have anyone depending on me being present. And as a result this is the perfect time for me to just leave.
One of the things I’ve always wanted to do was to take a trip around North America, visiting all the stops. I don’t want to miss a thing. Not a single National Park, major city, quaint town, or highway overlook.
My motto in life is basically that “there are too many things out there, and I need to see them all.” And that’s what a van will entitle me to do. I’ve been speaking to people on buying one, and hopefully by the end of the month I’ll have a Ford Transit ready to convert into my home.
I’ve had plenty of inspiration, but A Girl and Her Van was what finally pushed me over the edge. This is something on my bucket list, but also something I hope to accomplish by December.
